Information: What Others Say about Zarmani

Working with Nee Nee at Zarmani Tours is always a pleasure and an appreciation in efficiency and good care.

I have been introduced to outstanding guides who share a great insight to their country. Whether visiting the many peaceful pagodas, experiencing daily life in the markets, supporting remarkable artisans in their craft work,  you will no doubt find Myanmar is an incredibly diverse and special place, very alive in spirit.

As a free lance tour leader, I have been working with Ms. Nee Nee Myint for fifteen years. After she became General Manager of Zarmani, I have consistently sent numerous groups to her, including just a couple months ago. My groups are ALWAYS pleased with her services. Nee Nee is very conscientious, and really cares personally for every group. Her personal management touch graces every thing we do. The local guides whom Nee Nee chooses to lead the tours are also very personal and they make every effort to give us close-up experiences with the people, whether it is visiting homes or orphanages. Nee Nee's  commitment as a Buddhist opens doors for us behind the scenes at temples and other social welfare institutions. Doing a Zarmani tour guarantees you will have opportunities to relate to the common people and really feel the soul and spirit of this enchanting country.

DEAR NEE NEE, I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE MARVELLOUS TRIP I DID IN YOUR COUNTRY. YOUR COMPANY, YOUR KINDNESS AND WISE ADVICE MADE MY TRIP NOT ONLY PLEASANT BUT WARM  AND INTERESTING. THE FRIENDS I HAD RECOMMENDED YOU THINK ALSO THE SAME AND, AS MYSELF, FELL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COUNTRY, NOT ONLY FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PLACES, BUT ALSO BECAUSE OF YOUR HOSPITALITY WHICH GOES, IN HUMAN TERMS, FAR BEYOND YOUR SKILLS OF A TRAVEL AGENT.

I DO HOPE YOU CONTINUE TO DO YOUR WORK AS LOVING AS YOU DO, AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!

MY BEST WISHES

In my many years of organising study tours to a range of countries in Asia (including 4 to Burma), I have never been so deeply impressed with the spirit of cooperation, organizational skills and selfless dedication to ensure that all aspects of our program far exceeded expectations. Nee Nee and her Company, Zarmai Tours, did without doubt, provide one of the best experiences I have ever had as a tour organiser. She not only provided a selection of outstanding hotels (without using the most expensive), diverse range of meals and modes of transport, but also prepared an itinerary which was very different from the usual offerings. Our trip to the Chin peoples in Rakhine State, our ‘old bus’ ride through parts of Yangon which rarely saw tourists, the ceremony ‘to make a monk’ and visits to villages and great sites of cultural heritage were outstanding.  Nee Nee also provided an exemplary guide, Win, who’s English language skills were colloquial, and coupled with a deep knowledge and love for her country and its peoples, gave us a rare insight into life in contemporary Myanmar.  Win has a wonderful sense of humour and was inclusive of every member of the group, making certain that everyone’s needs were met and going out of her way just about every day to ensure we had the best experience possible. She was bubbling with enthusiasm and dedicated to assisting the lives of all those with whom she came into contact. Every member of my group was very sad to leave Win and Burma behind, and those for whom this was their second or third trip with me to Burma all commented on how this one exceeded the previous in the range and depth of experiences and organisational smoothness. Such things as baggage transfer by separate truck, finding all our bags in our rooms on arrival in the hotel, arriving at airports (including the International departure) to be handed our boarding passes with all formalities completed on our behalf, made for a hassle free and highly rewarding tour.

I cannot recommend Nee Nee and Zarmani Tours more highly, and can recommend their services without qualification.

Here are some comments from the group

“We were overwhelmed by the selfless dedication of our travel agent to the improvement of life and educational opportunity for several communities with which she is involved, as well as by the enormity of the task as a whole, and we were humbled by our guide’s thanks for making her people’s new year brighter by our donations as well as by buying their goods. Our guide provided a frank and informative narrative throughout our journey, which encouraged us to seek further clarification and to think deeply about the lives of people in Myanmar today”.

“Win, our guide, proved to be excellent and responsive to requests and information. Her ability to navigate the constraints of her country and understand and respond to enquiring Westerners questions was supremely handled”.

“The local guides employed to assist us in Myanmar were outstanding in their presentation, communication skills and willingness to meet all participants’ needs as well as providing authentic experiences and tours for our group”.
